CUTTING TYPES

The sawn timber is produced by using one of three different technologies:

Cut by log frame saw:

This kind of cutting technology is an obsolete method but is still used for cutting strong logs as preliminary cut. The result is a moderate rough sawn surface.

Band saw cut:

This kind of cutting technology attains a smoother surface after processing.

Chipper cut:

This technology offers the best and most accurate cutting result.
