At our terminal in the port of Koper we are able to air-dry the timber to a moisture content of 18–25%.
First sticks are put in between each layer to secure an optimum air circulation to get down the moisture inside the timber to the requested level. After the drying process is finished the sticks are removed and a compact packaging is done.
The best result can be reached during the summer season.
Alternatively timber can be dried in chambers under controlled climate conditions throughout the whole year.
